美国空间IXwebhosting三天退款记

我一直想把自己的博客迁到国外去。有很长一段时间,我一直关注美国主机,一直在犹豫要不要买一个。虽说美国主机性价比远超中国主机,但是费用一年也得好几百。而且,把博客放在太平洋的另一边,难免访问速度会慢很多。最可怕的是,博客随时会有会被墙的可能......

经过反复犹疑后,我下定决心买了Ixwebhosting的主机。这家主机在中国的评价是很不错的,性价比非常高。我买的主机方案是空间流量不限,可建无数网站,还送1个国际域名和2个独立Ip。三年的价格只需113.76美元。最重要的是,Ixwebhosting承诺购买其主机后一个月内,如果客户觉得不满意,可以无条件全额退款。

正是这个承诺使我最终下定决心买了Ixwebhosting的主机。如果用的好的话,这个价格实在是太划算了。可惜的是,Ixwebhosting主机在中国的访问速度实在有待提高。试用了几天,我终于忍不住要退款了。

Ixwebhosting的退款相当快。我提出退款请求后的第三天,Ixwebhosting就把113.76美元全额退回我的卡上。不过,全额退款的条件是购买产品一个月之内,而且,未使用他们免费提供的域名!一旦注册了免费域名,退款的时候就要扣除高额的域名费用。

现在把退款过程分享出来,希望能帮到同样需要退款的人。

第一步:用你的ixwebhosting主机的账号和密码,登陆控制面板:https://manage.ixwebhosting.com ;进入“HostingProducts”管理,点击右侧的“setting”按钮;点击“Change Renewal Status”出现下拉菜单,在下拉菜单中选择“Don’t Renew”,点击“change renewal status”按钮进行提交;完成上面的操作后,在打开的页面中选择“confirm changes”按钮,确定更改。这样,你的退款申请就初步提交了。

第二步:接着进入“24/7 Help center创建一个ticket。一定要创建一个ticket说明退款原因,不然别人不会在不明原因的情况下给你退款的。创建ticket详细过程可以看这篇文章:http://www.ixwebhosting.im/ixwebhosting-refundment.html

从这个ticket可以看出,Ixwebhosting退款处理很快,但是提交申请后还需要提供付款信用卡的后四位数。这个过程我出现过一个小问题,详见Chat on line with “Ixwebhosting 24/7 Live Chat”(与Ixwebhosting 24/7 在线客服的聊天记录)     总之,我7月3日创建ticket要求退款,当天Ixwebhosting就取消了我的账号并要求提供信用卡号末四位数,但是我7月4日才回复ticket提供卡号末四位数,7月5日Ixwebhosting便打款到我卡上了。不过,因为银行记账延迟,我7月7日才查到账单。
